Always Look For A Rainbow “The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. 10 And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You” (Psalm 9:9,10) God had only one Son without sin, but He has never had one son without a trial. But in every trial God has a rainbow. In the Bible the rainbow was a covenant sign from God to indicate His faithfulness and mercy. Three men saw rainbows. John the Revelator saw a rainbow before the trial (Rev. 4:3); Ezekiel saw a rainbow in the middle of the trial (Ezek. 1:28); and Noah saw a rainbow after the trial (Gen. 9:11-17).
There are three relationships to a trial. Whether it is before the trial, in the midst of the trial or after the trial, God has a rainbow. A covenant sign just for you that He will show His faithfulness and mercy, so you can live in victory. God’s responsibility is to provide the rainbow; yours is to look for it. Prayer: “Grant me grace to see your faithfulness and mercy no matter where I am situated in relationship to a trial. May mercy fall on me, from the hand of a merciful God.” |
It isn’t our position that makes us happy or unhappy; it’s our disposition.
